Belarus and Arkhangelsk region’s trade volume for H1 2026 reached 27.5 million USD, with about 22 million USD imported from Russia. Domestic product share in trade and catering rose to 54.6 %, slightly above the 58 % target for the end of 2026. The Union State program to address Chernobyl fallout is earmarked 1.998 billion RUB, of which 700.3 million RUB is allocated to Belarus. Eleven state contractors, including the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of Natural Resources, Ministry of Health and the National Academy of Sciences, will implement the program. Insurance payouts for H1 2026 totaled 874.5 million BYN, up 10.1 % from the same period last year.
