Prices under control: the State Control Committee reminds of responsibility for selling regulated goods without documents

During an inspection of a producer of drinking and mineral water, the State Control Committee of the Mogilev Region discovered and halted the sale of products at prices not confirmed by economic calculations, as well as their systematic increase without approval from the regional executive committee. The products were sold, among others, to state organizations.

As a result of the inspection, the enterprise was fined, and the responsible officials were held disciplinarily liable.

It should be noted that selling state-regulated goods without economic calculations confirming the level of wholesale prices, or in violation of the established price registration procedure, carries a penalty of up to ten percent of the value of the goods sold.
