On the eve of the Day of National Unity, the youth trade union forum "My Country — My Destiny" was held. The solemn opening of the event was conducted by Vyacheslav Shilo, Chairman of the Belarusian Trade Union of Healthcare Workers.
— The strength of the state depends on unity, continuity of generations, and the common aspiration to work for the good of the country. Young medical workers are a strategic resource for the industry. The trade union does everything possible to ensure that every young person feels supported, — said the trade union leader, emphasizing that the industry trade union pays great attention to young specialists — their support, adaptation, and, most importantly, their retention in the workplace.
The program included three main blocks: dialogue platforms, presentation of regional Youth Councils, and team-building.
In particular, Natalia Kupovich, head of the socio-economic work department of the BPRZ, told young specialists about the rights and guarantees for industry workers, about the protection enshrined in the Agreement between the industry trade union and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, about wages and support measures. Natalia Sapego, labor law inspector of the BPRZ, covered issues of legal support: from labor guarantees to mechanisms for resolving disputed situations.
— Meetings in this format provide an opportunity to get to know colleagues, share experience with regions, and adopt some ideas for oneself, — noted Sergey Pankov, chief specialist of the organizational and public work department of the regional organization of the industry trade union.
