Matte kitchens are very aesthetic, but such a coating requires special care. Improper cleaning not only leaves streaks but irreversibly changes the surface structure.

Main care rules.

Remove dirt immediately. A fresh spot of oil or sauce is removed in a minute. Removing the same spot after several hours – that's already a more difficult task.

Use only soft materials. For care, microfiber, sponges and flannel work. Metal brushes, hard abrasive sponges and scrapers – prohibited. On a matte surface scratches don't shine, but under side lighting they become very noticeable.

Exclude aggressive chemicals, as they destroy the top layer of the coating and change the facade's color tone.

Which products are suitable for care.

A soap solution – basic and universal option. A few drops of dishwashing detergent added to warm water handle dust, light grease and handprints.

Glass cleaners without alcohol allow quickly removing dirt without streaks. Before use test them on an inconspicuous area.

Silicone polishes for matte surfaces create a protective layer and make subsequent cleaning easier; glossy polishes give an unwanted shine.

The washing algorithm.

The secret is to work on small areas and prevent moisture from drying itself.

Using spray, don't direct it straight at the facade. Droplets will hit the seams, and the product will run in streaks. Spray onto a microfiber cloth instead.

If using dish soap, dissolve it well and whip it into foam.

Wash facades from top to bottom – this removes streaks.

During washing, make vertical movements rather than circular ones across the full height of the facade. This makes the marks from the edges of the cloth less noticeable.

Immediately after cleaning, wipe the washed section dry. Change the cloth as soon as it becomes damp. For perfect results, go over the facades again with a dry microfiber cloth, polishing the surface.
