The President’s decree regulates the work of funds and charitable activities in healthcare

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko signed on September 7 the decree No. 304 “On Funds and Charitable Activities in the Healthcare Sector,” which regulates the legal relationships in this area and updates the general provisions on funds. BELTA was informed of this by the president’s press service.

The document defines charitable activity in the healthcare sector and specifies the group of persons involved in its organization and financing.

A procedure for collecting funds for medical assistance and their targeted expenditure has been established, as well as the disposition of funds that have been deposited into charitable accounts beyond the limit or have remained unclaimed. A mechanism for controlling the movement and targeted use of the collected funds is provided.
