At OAO "Mstislavllen," flax harvesting, processing, and preparation for the next agricultural season are being carried out in parallel. In addition, the flax mill workers are shipping flax fiber against the state order to the Orsha Linen Mill.

Work at OAO "Mstislavllen" is underway across all areas. Machine operators are actively engaged in harvesting flax straw from the fields. Using baler-loaders, flax has already been harvested from an area of about 150 hectares. More than 600 tons of flax straw have been stockpiled and delivered to the enterprise's sheds. On an area of 325 hectares, the swaths have been turned. This technological technique makes it possible to obtain higher-quality raw materials, since the process of retting flax straw has its own peculiarities.

The "northern silk" plots allocated for seeds also did not disappoint this year. A total of 159 tons of flax seeds were obtained, with a yield of 5.2 c/ha.

The enterprise is also concerned about next year's harvest. To this end, chemical weeding of the plots allocated for flax cultivation in 2027 is already underway.

The processing shop is also operating in three shifts. Short and long flax fiber is produced here.

By the way, the flax mill workers have completed the shipment of short flax fiber against the state order. A total of 400 tons have been delivered to the Orsha Linen Mill. The delivery of long flax fiber has also been fulfilled at 77%, with the total volume of the state order amounting to 245 tons.

"We are fulfilling the state order in a timely manner and in full," says the director of the joint-stock company, Sergei Sapezhinsky. "In addition, we have the opportunity to sell our products on the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange. We sell flax fiber to the Russian Federation and China. This year, the production line for producing long fiber has been modernized at the enterprise. This has improved the quality of the fiber and increased its yield. Undoubtedly, this will bring us a tangible economic benefit."
