The meeting of the Supervisory Board of the High Technologies Park was chaired by Belarus Prime Minister Alexander Turčin, reports BELTA.

"We are today holding another meeting of the Supervisory Board of the HTP. On the agenda – registration of new residents of the High Technologies Park and approval of new business projects. Another important topic – inclusion of a new type of activity using additive technologies. We cannot do without the crypto sphere either. In fact, every Supervisory Board meeting is somehow related to this," said Alexander Turčin.

Anna Ryabova, who heads the Secretariat of the Supervisory Board of the High Technologies Park, provided additional information about the new area of activity in the HTP.

"We really see prospects, because additive technologies are not only a production cycle, but also a hardware-software complex. Therefore, we propose, without delay, to include this type of activity and then enshrine it normatively," she noted.

Anna Ryabova emphasized that additive technologies and 3D printers find wide application in replacing worn-out parts and in small innovative enterprises where it is necessary to create small but high-quality components with high precision.

"Software is written for this, and specific programs are already being developed that allow testing completely new complex devices and launching absolutely new technological processes. Therefore, this is a very valuable tool adapted specifically for innovative production," she emphasized.

At the meeting, they discussed how to improve the interaction between applicants and crypto residents with audit firms.

"Only two audit companies had the opportunity to interact with our applicants and crypto residents. The list is being expanded to seven companies," Dmitry Kalechitz noted.

In reports that crypto residents submit annually to the Secretariat of the PWT Oversight Council, tasks have been clarified. Additionally, new requirements have been introduced for disclosing compliance with various business processes under the law and the Oversight Council resolutions.

Furthermore, measures to improve the work of crypto residents in combating illegal operations and cybercrime were discussed. Following legislative changes, it is expected that PWT crypto residents will interact with the National Bank's Automated Incident Processing System (ASOI). Approaches to organizing this interaction and the procedures for crypto residents responding to information received from the system were considered.

Anna Ryabov, head of the Secretariat of the Park High Technologies Oversight Council, stated that a new decree concerning Park's activities was being developed. According to her, in light of acute global market competition, institutional norms need to be adjusted.

"Specifically, we are already moving toward adopting a decree on PWT. It is currently undergoing approval among government bodies, so soon we will propose these innovations to the public within our institution," she said.

During the Park High Technologies Oversight Council meeting, more than 30 new residents were registered.

"I would like to note that out of those who come to us, only a small portion operate as order-based entities; the rest function as product-oriented or mixed models. This pleases us greatly," Ryabov indicated.

She also paid special attention to the issue of supporting startup initiatives.

"Yesterday we held the largest startup forum in our history, Space Day. There were almost 2,000 young initiative-seeking participants. Many business companies were presented. The forum found simply wonderful support. We awarded grants to those selected by the Secretariat at the request of the Oversight Council. The most positive response was received," highlighted the head of the Secretariat of the PWT Oversight Council.
