Calves will live in nurseries

In the Lida District, the construction of livestock preventive facilities is nearing completion. This issue is under the special supervision of the chairman of the district executive committee. Recently, Alexander Versotsky inspected the progress of work at the dairy complexes "Yodki," "Gonchary," and "Krinitsy."

An ambitious goal has been set for this year – to commission nine preventive facilities for calves. And this is not just a construction project, it is an investment in the economic sustainability of our farms. I am sincerely grateful to the heads of agricultural enterprises who have approached this matter responsibly and with an understanding of its importance, – noted the head of the district. – Seven out of nine facilities are already fully ready to receive their "boarders." A clear target has been set for the builders and agrarians at the remaining two sites: to complete all work in the shortest possible time."

Why is attention to these facilities so close? The answer lies in the technology. A modern preventive facility is a high-tech environment where drafts, dampness, and temperature fluctuations are eliminated. A favorable microclimate allows the calf to receive the necessary care from the very first hours of life. Under such conditions, the young animals will grow healthy, with strong immunity, which will minimize the risks of mortality and disease.

For the Lida District, this is a strategic step. After all, quality milk begins with care for the calf, which means that every new preventive facility will only add strength to the foundation of food security and well-being of our region.
