Representatives of Brest State University named after A.S. Pushkin are among the participants of the professions festival in the capital, which will take place as part of the celebration of Minsk City Day on September 12. Residents and guests of Minsk, personnel recruiters and educational institutions will gather at the Central Children's Park named after Maxim Gorky.

This Sunday, park visitors will have the opportunity to learn about a range of professions and educational institutions. In addition, workshops, exhibitions, tastings, and a cultural program will be organized. A 2026 innovation will be the participation of small business representatives in the career guidance event. The team from BGU named after A.S. Pushkin will discuss teaching professions, urbanist professions, and legal professions.

– An urbanist is a specialist who is trained in Belarus only at our university. He is an expert in the development of urban systems – from city planning and transport infrastructure to ecology and the “smart city” concept. At the site, participants will be able to create an ideal quarter, assemble a road constructor, and assess the comfort of urban infrastructure, – explained the university. – Of course, we will present teaching professions and explain them through the project “Doctor Clown Brings Joy to Suffering Children,” implemented with the support of a grant from the President of the Republic of Belarus. Participants will have the chance to try themselves as clown therapists. At the lawyer’s station, we will help everyone who wants to master dactyloscopy techniques, and in a game-like format, they can learn more about the activities of attorneys, prosecutors, notaries, and the judiciary.

During the festival, an improvised employment center will operate, where participants will receive “employment books” to undertake an exciting quest.
