
Average salary in Belarus rose to 3,172 rubles in July

First and foremost, the National Statistical Committee shared updated statistics. All amounts are given before taxes. Thus, in July 2026, the figure amounted to 3,172 rubles. Compared to June, this important indicator increased by 67.9 rubles.
Average salary by region
In Minsk, the July average salary reached 4,116.3 rubles. Consequently, as early as last month, Muscovites' earnings exceeded 4,000, amounting to 4,054.4 rubles. This time, the figure grew by 61.9 rubles.
In addition, among the regions, the Minsk region traditionally became the leader. There, the indicator stood at 3,235.6 rubles (plus 52.3). At the same time, in other regions the figure is below 3,000.
According to Belstat data, the figure for the Brest region was 2,865.9, for the Grodno region — 2,859.1. At the same time, in the Gomel region the average salary for July equals 2,797.4, in the Vitebsk region — 2,697.8, in the Mogilev region — 2,684.8.
By type of economic activity
According to statistics, the most profitable areas were the following:
information and communications (average salary for July — 6,413)
financial and insurance activities (4,689.9)
construction (4,054.7)
Furthermore, next come professional, scientific and technical activities (3,790.8), industry (3,292.9), transport, postal, courier activities, warehousing (3,123.1).
Less than 3,000 on average was earned by specialists in wholesale and retail trade, repair of cars and motorcycles (2,902.5), real estate operations (2,822), in agriculture, forestry and fisheries (2,744.7). However, in healthcare and social services the indicator was 2,541.7, in education — 2,176.
