At the next meeting of the commission for facilitating employment of citizens not engaged in the economy, dozens of vacancies at enterprises and organizations in the district were offered to the unemployed. The main conditions for employment are a willingness to work and adherence to labor discipline.

Opening the meeting, Olga Fedorchuk, deputy head of the employment department of the labor, employment and social protection department of the district executive committee, reminded attendees of the wide range of support measures provided by the employment service. She paid special attention to a comprehensive approach that includes not only traditional employment methods but also active support for citizens seeking self‑realization through their own business.

One of the key topics of discussion was the organization of independent professional activity. Participants were given detailed explanations of the procedures and types of such activity, as well as the possibilities for earning professional income. Valentina Kucepalova, head of the district office of the Gomel Regional Social Protection Fund, spoke about important aspects of pension provision and voluntary pension savings.

Despite the diversity of life situations among the invited unemployed citizens, commission members emphasized their readiness to provide employment assistance both from the employment service and from district enterprises and organizations. Specialists from JSC “Svetlogorsk Khimvolokno” and JSC “Svetlogorsk CKK” held a “Mini Job Fair” on site, presenting information about available vacancies, working conditions, and salary levels. Some citizens expressed an intention to come for an interview in the near future, but whether this will actually happen remains to
