JSC “Svetlogorsk Cellulose and Paper Mill” is the only producer in the Republic of Belarus of sulfite bleached pulp from coniferous wood. The mill’s production capacity allows it to produce up to 400,000 tonnes of product per year. The technological cycle is fully closed: from raw‑material preparation to final packaging, ensuring high quality control at every stage.

Corrugated boxes

Corrugated cardboard remains a universal material for packaging, combining strength, lightness, and economy. Svetlogorsky CKK offers a solution for any task: from standard boxes to complex structural elements.

The range includes standard crates for popular categories of goods: dairy products, canned goods, household chemicals, and confectionery. If standard dimensions do not fit, containers are made to individual sizes. To improve consumer properties and logistics convenience, they perform cutting of handles, ventilation holes, and non-standard valves.

Visual design is also a priority. Printing is applied in 2-3 colors: logos, instructions for use, and other marketing information are placed.

Special attention is paid to complex structures. On professional equipment, die-cutting is performed to create trays, liners, and other non-standard shape elements. Complex die-cutting is done - trays, liners, and other intricate shapes.

Logistics and delivery are ready to start immediately after production. Finished boxes are tightly packed in transport packs and wrapped with stretch film to protect against moisture and dust. Corrugated cardboard

Corrugated cardboard is not just packaging, but an engineering structure, where strength directly depends on the number of layers. Depending on the task, three-, five-, and eight-layer sheets are used. The more layers, the higher the bearing capacity of the material.

The principle of the device is simple: a wavy inner layer (or layers) and flat outer sheets are glued together. Three-layer cardboard with one "wave" is the most popular option. Most standard boxes for light and medium-sized cargo are made from it. Five-layer material, which has two waves and three flat layers, is designed for large and heavy cargo that requires increased protection during transportation.

An important parameter is the wave pitch: the smaller it is, the smoother the surface of the sheet, which is ideal for high-quality printing of logos and advertisements. However, such a structure is worse at absorbing shocks. Therefore, the choice of corrugation type is always a compromise between the aesthetics of the packaging and its protective properties.

Standard sheet sizes are usually 1030×1200 mm or 1030×2000 mm. However, production is not limited to these dimensions: any size can be manufactured to meet specific customer requirements. That is, corrugated cardboard offers a flexible solution - from light packaging to super-strong containers for complex logistics chains.

Crude Tall Oil (CTO)

This is a by-product of the pulp and paper industry that is formed during the cooking of wood and is a valuable raw material for the chemical industry. Depending on the original material, there are two main types: coniferous and deciduous crude tall oil.

The application of the oil depends on its origin. Coniferous CTO is mainly used in the production of paints and coatings. Deciduous oil is used as a lubricant and separating fluid. The key physical property of the substance is its insolubility in water. This makes it an ideal component for technologies that require protection from moisture or the creation of hydrophobic surfaces.

CTO has particular significance in two major industries: drilling and ore flotation. In drilling fluids, it acts as a lubricant for drilling tools and prevents the leaching of components by water. In flotation processes, the oil helps to collect target particles on the surface of the water, increasing the efficiency of ore enrichment.

Production facilities ensure the release of approximately 20,000 tons of product per year. Since Belarus lacks infrastructure for deep processing of crude tall oil, the entire volume is sold on the export market.

Sulfate Turpentine

It represents a liquid with a yellow hue, which is a byproduct of cellulose cooking. The production process is based on the condensation of volatile substances released from wood under thermal influence. At the intermediate stage, the product has a transparent structure and a weakly expressed aroma, and in the final stage, it acquires a characteristic sharp and unpleasant smell.

The obtained raw material serves as a basis for further chemical processing. From it, purified turpentine and a number of other chemical compounds are produced. For logistical purposes, the material is packaged in eurocubes, which ensures the convenience of transporting large batches.

Filtering cardboard for food liquids

Filtering cardboard is a specialized material for the fine purification of various food liquids. Its composition includes cellulose, cotton, and kieselguhr (diatomite), which together form a porous structure with specified characteristics. Such a composition allows for the effective retention of suspended particles, yeast, proteins, and other impurities without disrupting the chemical balance of the beverage.

The main function of this material is to provide deep filtration. Unlike surface filters, where contaminants accumulate only on the surface, the cardboard passes the liquid through its pores, capturing micro-particles inside its thickness. This significantly increases the filter's resource and reduces the likelihood of clogging, which is especially important when processing large volumes of products.

Sulfate bleached cellulose

This is the basic raw material for the production of high-quality paper and cardboard products. It is obtained from coniferous or deciduous wood by deep cooking, which removes lignin, and subsequent bleaching. The absence of chlorine in the cleaning process makes the product environmentally safe, and the fibers retain high strength and durability.

The main area of application of this material is the production of office and printing paper, as well as packaging.

In addition, cellulose is actively used in the production of sanitary and hygienic products, such as wipes and toilet paper, due to the softness and cleanliness of the raw material.

Glued paper bags

Glued paper bags are a reliable and environmentally friendly packaging for bulk products and piece goods. Unlike sewn analogs, their upper part is hermetically fixed with a glue seam, which ensures protection of the contents from moisture and dust. Such packaging is ideal for packaging flour, building mixes, cereals, sugar, and other powdery materials.

The durability of the product directly depends on the number of layers of paper. Standard models are released in three- or four-layer versions. The multi-layer structure increases the bag's resistance to tears and punctures, allowing for the safe transportation of heavy loads.

For convenient storage and logistics, models with a rectangular bottom are in the highest demand. Due to their rigid shape, such bags stand stably on shelves and in warehouses, and also allow for the most efficient use of space when stacking. Bags with an open top remain popular due to their simplicity of use: after filling, they can be quickly sewn or glued shut, ensuring hermeticity during delivery.
