From September 23, Belarus introduces a temporary ban on the export of certain industrial goods

From September 23, 2026, Belarus is introducing a temporary ban on the export of certain types of industrial goods. The corresponding resolution was signed by Prime Minister Alexander Turchin.

The ban will be in effect for six months and is aimed at preventing the unjustified export of products and preventing shortages on the domestic market. As part of the resolution, the list of goods subject to the restriction has also been updated.

Excluded from the list are:

goods for which practically no applications for export were received during the period of previous restrictions, or the number of such applications was insignificant;

goods that are exported outside the republic for the needs of the distribution network of Belarusian organizations abroad or for special representatives;

products whose export and technical maintenance are complicated by the need to obtain export permits.
