Overall, over the first seven months of the current year, the region achieved solid financial results: revenue increased, profit from sales grew by almost 65%, and sales profitability rose as well. Net profit exceeded 1 billion rubles.

However, some organizations operated at a loss.

"Operating at a loss is a serious signal that requires immediate response and the implementation of comprehensive measures to cut all types of expenses, review product assortment, and sales policy," emphasized the Oblispolkom chairman.

According to the governor, a positive financial outcome and stable operation of organizations directly affect economic stability, as well as the formation of the revenue portion of the budget, from which social obligations such as healthcare and education are financed.

At the meeting, Oblispolkom chairman Ivan Krupko noted that the region is taking insufficient measures to bring individual enterprises to break-even. This is partly due to the lack of in-depth financial analysis at the local level, searching for bottlenecks and sources of loss.

"Each chairman of the regional executive committee must strengthen accountability for the economic performance of unprofitable organizations, identify approaches to improve their effectiveness. They should work not just poorly, but efficiently and well. The key is people. That's why we work for this," summarized the governor.
