Police officers have stopped a series of thefts in the agro-industrial complex of the Gomel region, reports the Telegram channel "Sozhsky Forpost".

In the Gomel district, a criminal case has been opened against a 37-year-old tractor driver-machine operator at a local enterprise for embezzlement. From June to August, the man regularly drained diesel fuel from his assigned tractor. Over two months, he managed to steal 360 liters of diesel, causing damage amounting to almost 1 thousand rubles.

In the Mozyr and Lelchitsa districts, workers drained fuel from equipment tanks into canisters, stealing a total of 620 liters of diesel worth more than 1300 rubles.

In the Rechitsa district, criminal cases have been opened against three drivers of an agricultural enterprise simultaneously. The men drained diesel fuel directly while carrying out work on applying fertilizers to fields. The volume of stolen fuel amounted to 1845 liters, and the damage exceeded 4 thousand rubles.

A criminal case has also been opened against the director of an agricultural enterprise who committed theft of spare parts for motor vehicles worth more than 1200 rubles.

Raid activities and inspections of agricultural facilities by police officers continue on a constant basis.
