We met a makeup artist who sings on stage and raises twins. We also found out her service prices

A reason to sign up for an evening makeup session came up. In the Kletsk district, I found Vera Smirnova. She is a singer, a makeup artist, an eyebrow specialist, and a mother of twins. Let me tell you how it all worked out and how much it costs to become beautiful.

The stage, the children, and a passion for makeup

In the Kletsk district, Vera is known as a singer — she often performs on the stage of the district cultural center.

Recently, an important event happened in her life: twins were born — Misha and Katya.

She didn't want to just stay home with the kids all the time, so Vera decided to turn her long-time passion for makeup into a job. Now she has become a makeup artist and eyebrow specialist, and sees clients.

"When the children were born, I realized that sitting idle was not for me. I've always loved makeup, did it for myself and my friends for performances. So I decided to try earning money from it. Especially with twins, you need a flexible schedule, and here I'm my own boss. While the kids are sleeping or playing, I can do what I love. It both distracts me and inspires me," Vera said.

A special approach to clients

Vera herself says that for her, makeup is not just about cosmetics. It's important to her that a woman feels beautiful, not just "made up."

"Every woman is beautiful in her own way. I try to highlight that, not cover it up with tons of cosmetics. When a person likes what they see in the mirror, they hold themselves differently and smile differently. That's what I like most about my work," Vera shares.

Now she not only works with acquaintances and friends but is also gaining experience, building a portfolio, and actively seeing clients.

Evening makeup

I booked an evening makeup session with Vera. I asked her to do a look with a blended-out wing and a sharp point at the inner corner of the eyes — I've had this kind of makeup done before, and I really like it. The gaze instantly becomes deeper, and the eyes look visually bigger. It looks bright but not vulgar.

The process took about an hour. Vera worked carefully, constantly asking if I was comfortable and if I liked everything. The price is 60-70 rubles, depending on the complexity. For a full evening look with detailed color work and a sharp wing — that's quite reasonable.

If you just need to freshen up before going out, you can get a daytime makeup for 50 rubles. It takes 30-40 minutes: foundation, light correction, brows, mascara, and lip gloss. No complex eyeshadow or winged liner.

And if you want something truly unusual, Vera creates art looks with graphic designs, double arrows, and even rhinestones. That starts from 100 rubles and takes up to two hours of work.

Comprehensive brow care

I liked the makeup so much that the next day I decided to book a brow appointment as well. Especially since many girls in the area complain: lamination is hard to come by — either no one does it, or they do a half-hearted job. With Vera, judging by the price list, everything is fair and square:

A full lamination package (shaping, form, tinting, aftercare) — 35 rubles.

If you don't need tinting, you can get a lami-express for 30 rubles — that's shaping plus correction.

Brow architecture — form plus tinting — will cost 25 rubles.

You can simply come in for a wax and tweeze correction or refresh the color — each procedure is 15 rubles.

There are also little extras: upper lip or chin depilation — 5 rubles, lash tinting — also 5.
