The quota for duty-free import of electric vehicles for individuals has been exhausted. This was reported by the customs service.

"When planning further customs declarations, one should keep in mind the need to pay a customs duty of 15% of the vehicle's value," the Customs Committee reminded.

They also noted that for electric vehicles that are no more than five years old from the date of manufacture, there is an option to apply VAT exemption.
