Queues of passenger and freight vehicles at the entrance to EU countries have increased by 675 units since Friday. According to the State Border Committee, the main burden continues to fall on the Polish direction, where the slowest processing of transport by the neighboring side is recorded.

In the freight direction, there are currently about 300 trucks waiting in front of Polish checkpoints. Over the past weekend, employees of the Kukuryki (Kozlovichi) and Bobrowniki (Brestovitsa) border crossings processed 43% and 15% of their respective capacity norms. A difficult situation also persists on the Lithuanian section of the border. In front of the Medininkai (Kamenny Log) and Šalčininkai (Benyakoni) checkpoints, 90 trucks are waiting to enter Lithuania, while local border services processed 18% of the established quota of trucks.

As for passenger vehicles, as of 10:00 on Monday, queues were recorded exclusively on the border with Poland. In front of the Terespol (Brest) and Kuźnica Białostocka (Brusgi) checkpoints, 680 passenger cars are waiting to enter the neighboring territory. Since Friday, the neighboring side has accepted 28% of the cars.
