On August 15, the annual summer fishing competition among employees of JSC “Stroytrast No. 3 Order of the October Revolution” was held at one of the picturesque ponds of JSC “Rybkhoz “Krasnaya Sloboda.” The event was organized by the company administration and the primary trade union organization with the aim of popularizing fishing as a form of mass active recreation, exchanging experience and fishing techniques, and identifying the strongest fishing enthusiasts among the builders.

This year the tournament gathered more than 40 participants from various structural units – from experienced anglers to newcomers eager to test their skills. The atmosphere of friendly rivalry, fresh air, and the quiet of the water body created ideal conditions for a full‑fledged rest after the workweek.

Diplomas and commemorative gifts were presented to the winners and prizewinners by the deputy general director for general affairs and ideological work – head of the personnel department Olga Ganchar – and the chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organization of Stroytrast No. 3, Vyacheslav Yefimchik. They congratulated the participants on their excellent catch and wished them new achievements, noting that such events strengthen corporate spirit and bring positive emotions.

Why is fishing especially beneficial for builders?

Fishing is not just a hobby, but a real tool for restoring physical and mental strength. Time spent outdoors helps reduce stress, normalize blood pressure, and improve mood.
