The summer placement campaign noticeably replenished the personnel reserve of OJSC “Stroytrast No. 3 Order of the October Revolution”: dozens of young specialists joined the team. Among them are 17 graduates of universities and secondary specialized institutions of the Republic of Belarus. Among them are civil engineers who completed pre‑graduate training in the trust’s units and have now begun independent work.

Young specialists are involved in the production process at all stages—from working with cost and contract documentation to organizing construction and installation work. They work under the attentive guidance of mentors, and their professional stories become a vivid illustration of generational continuity within the team. And who said that construction is not a woman’s job? Graduates of BNTU and Polotsk State University are ready to convincingly refute this stereotype.

Alina Chechura: “The construction profession is my conscious choice”

It seems that just yesterday Alina Chechura, a resident of Soligorsk, held the coveted civil engineering diploma in her hands, and today she is already gaining her first professional experience.

Alina graduated from the construction faculty of BNTU with a specialization in “Industrial and Civil Construction” and was assigned to the position of cost engineering specialist in the Department of Foreign Economic Relations, Contracting and Marketing of the Directorate’s apparatus.

“I always knew that medicine, pedagogy were not for me, I’m not a humanities person,” Alina told the online publication str3.by. “I prefer the exact sciences; I studied in a specialized “Mathematics‑Physics” class, I enjoy calculating and analyzing. The topic of construction is interesting and always relevant. There are many fascinating processes here. The decision to become an engineer simply came naturally. My mother is an engineer, but she did not influence my choice of profession…​

My acquaintance with the department and the team began long before my official employment—during a two‑week pre‑internship practice, shares Alina. — Even then I realized how important the coordinated work of our department is: it is precisely this that shapes the order portfolio of the entire construction trust No. 3. My colleagues introduced me to the specifics of the work, the incoming documentation, and the necessary instructions. The team is very friendly and supportive—I was warmly welcomed. I am convinced that first impressions and the support of colleagues play a decisive role in adaptation and mastering practical skills. I was always given useful advice and recommendations on organizing work—on this point I was very lucky. Now I enthusiastically take on any assignments: whether it is preparing a letter or comments, or diving into cost‑contract procedures.

The beginning of Alina’s career at Construction Trust No. 3 was marked by an important event: as part of the regional campaign “Civil Position,” she was ceremoniously accepted into the ranks of new members of the Soligorsk district organization of the Republican public association “White Russia.” This approach—a personal constructive contribution to the common cause—fully reflects the spirit of the organization. Alina’s entry into “White Russia” became a natural continuation of her active life stance, which she consistently demonstrates even at work. It is precisely such engaged people that the association’s activities are built upon.

Milena Dubovskaya: “I don’t like office work. Construction is constant movement and communication with people. And that is much closer to me.”

Milena had a choice: stay in Polotsk or go to work at Construction Trust No. 3 in Soligorsk, where she met them back in the spring during her pre‑graduation internship at SU‑95. Her diploma project was practice‑oriented: it was based on the work used in the construction of the Darasinsky mine to maintain the raw material base of the third mining administration of OJSC “Belaruskali” in the Soligorsk district.

Interestingly, it is on this very site that Milena's university classmate Valerya Medved, also a young specialist and SU‑95 graduate, is gaining construction experience.

The girls not only studied and interned together, but also shared a room in the youth dormitory of Construction Trust No. 3. Now they are not only colleagues at SU‑95, but still neighbors in the same dormitory, supporting each other both at work and in everyday life.
