A new support program for regional business projects in the meat and dairy industry has been launched in Belarus

Трыбуна Працы July 22, 2026 15:48 Banks, the Development Bank, and the Belarusian Fund for Financial Support of Entrepreneurs, at the initiative of the government, have launched a lending program for businesses called "New Products" under the brand "Regional Initiative," BELTA was told by the press service of the Ministry of Economy.

The credit product is aimed at supporting investment projects of commercial organizations implemented outside Minsk in two areas. In the meat industry — the creation of production facilities for feed and products for specialized and therapeutic-prophylactic nutrition. In the dairy industry — the production of products based on deep processing of dairy raw materials: condensed dairy products, cheddar cheese, baby food in accordance with GMP standards, and dry dairy products for supply to countries of the far arc.

The amount is up to 150 million rubles. The rate is 6.5% per annum (7 years), thereafter — the refinancing rate plus 3 percentage points. The term is up to 15 years.

More detailed information about the credit product can be found on the online platform of the Belarusian Fund for Financial Support of Entrepreneurs, on the websites and at the branches of the participating banks (JSC "ASB Belarusbank," JSC "Belagroprombank," JSC "Belinvestbank") and JSC "Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus."

As previously reported, under the overall umbrella brand "Regional Initiative," lending programs are in effect aimed at supporting relevant business ideas that align with the key priorities of the socio-economic development program of Belarus for 2026-2030. Earlier, the lending programs "Tourist Potential," "Strong Regions," and "Technological Self-Sufficiency" were launched.
