On the agricultural plot of LLC "Belproduct", which is located in the Kormansky district, potato harvesting for chip varieties is underway at full speed. All freshly harvested potatoes directly from the field go to the production area, where they undergo sorting. There are three sorting lines operating at the site, with thirty people employed. During the workday, sorters separate industrial potatoes from impurities, stones, and soil.

– It is important that the potatoes for subsequent processing are of good quality, dry and free from various impurities, – comments Vladimir Svirdenko, deputy head of the Kormansky agricultural plot. – For this, the potatoes first pass through a sorting bin, where they are immediately partially cleaned of soil, and then proceed to an inspection table. After that, the sorters manually further sort them until proper quality is achieved.

After sorting, the potatoes are loaded into special wooden containers and stored in a warehouse. A part of the potatoes is sent to the factory for chip making.
