The beauty industry is designed to bring joy, confidence, and a flawless appearance. However, behind the shining facade of the beauty sphere, its not-so-aesthetic "dark" side is sometimes hidden - concealment of income, tax evasion, and in some cases, the absence of a license to practice medical activities. After all, such popular procedures as laser hair removal and apparatus massage are indeed medical activities, and therefore, only specialists with medical education in institutions with the corresponding state registration and license have the right to provide them.
Such activities are under constant control of the MNS inspection in the Borisovsky district. Let's give examples of when unscrupulous cosmetologists, wanting to save on taxes, illegally provided citizens with such popular services, but did not hurry to comply with the requirements of the legislation and risked the health of trusting clients.
In particular, in studio "A" of laser hair removal, located in the city of Borisov, citizen A systematically provided clients with apparatus services for laser hair removal. Advertising of services was placed in social networks, and orders were also accepted through them. During the conduct of control measures, it was established that the amount of income illegally received by A exceeded 56,000 rubles. The result of the "shadow business" was the attraction of A to administrative responsibility in the form of a fine of 84 rubles, confiscation of the laser hair removal apparatus, and part of the income from unregistered entrepreneurial activity in the amount of 1,680 rubles. And with the remaining part of the income, A will have to pay income tax at an increased rate - 26 percent.
Another enterprising citizen, G, in one of the Borisov beauty salons, provided similar services for laser hair removal, but already as an individual entrepreneur. As a result of the control measures carried out, income from engaging in this activity in the amount of 61,700 rubles was established, as well as concealed revenue in the amount of 34,500 rubles. The individual entrepreneur was brought to administrative responsibility in the form of a fine of 420 rubles with confiscation of part of the income in the amount of 1,850 rubles and additional accrual of income tax on the remaining part of the income at an increased rate of 26 percent.
Such violations are far from isolated. The beauty sphere today offers a truly wide range of services, since demand usually generates supply. However, these services must be provided correctly, in compliance with legislative requirements, including those related to licensing. Otherwise, the outcome of such activities will be entirely unprofitable.
