The United States of America will lift sanctions against OJSC Lakokraska and the Bellesbumprom concern. This was announced by US Special Envoy for Belarus John Kool after talks in Minsk.

Belarus and the United States have agreed on an interim agreement.

Kool: Belarus and the United States have made significant progress in the talks.

Kool: Belarus and the United States will continue working to resolve the remaining issues.

"As a gesture of goodwill, Belarus will release 25 people. The United States, in turn, will lift sanctions on two Belarusian companies — Lakokraska and Bellesbumprom — said the US special envoy."
