At the intersection of Mira Avenue with Kosmonavtov and Yakubovsky Streets stands a modern underground pedestrian crossing — an important element of the emerging inner-city ring road.

The construction of the facility was completed on schedule, and now city residents can appreciate its advantages.

The structure, which has three entrances and exits, is 60 meters long.

For the convenience of pedestrians, the walkway is paved with anti-slip tiles, and the steps will be heated during the cold season.

Two lifts manufactured by OJSC "Mogilevliftmash" have been installed for people with limited mobility.

The crossing is equipped with lighting and a video monitoring system, and electronic information displays are in operation.

The site is given a special atmosphere by Victory symbolism: a legendary T-34 tank has been installed above the crossing. The sacred theme is also reflected in the design of the underground space itself. The walls feature archival photographs, portraits of Heroes of the Great Patriotic War, and an image of the Order of the Patriotic War, First Class, with which Mogilev has been awarded.
