From July 1, 2025, Decree No. 475 of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated December 30, 2024, "On Reimbursement of Expenses for the Purchase of Boiler Equipment Operating on Wood Fuel Pellets," entered into force. According to it, citizens who are owners of single-apartment residential buildings or residential premises in block residential buildings are reimbursed 40% of the cost of the purchased boiler equipment (but not more than 120 base values established on the date of the decision to reimburse part of the expenses). Reimbursement is made from local budget funds once for the purchase of boiler equipment for heating one residential house.

To receive reimbursement, the first step is to purchase a pellet boiler manufactured in the Republic of Belarus or by a member state of the Eurasian Economic Union. Then, you must perform commissioning and adjustment work on the boiler equipment using a specialized organization and obtain an act of completed work. Only after this should you apply to the "single window" service of the district executive committee with the following package of documents:

– documents confirming the purchase of the boiler equipment; – an act of commissioning and adjustment work performed by a specialized organization; – details of the current (settlement) bank account opened in the citizen's name in a bank of the Republic of Belarus for subsequent transfer of funds; – a certificate from the open joint-stock company "Sberbank Belarusbank" confirming that the citizen has not received a preferential loan for gasification.

When reviewing the documents, the following will be verified: – the presence of centralized heating for the given house; – the presence of centralized gas supply; – the citizen's ownership of the real estate property; – whether the citizen was included in the lists for reimbursement of part of the expenses for electricity supply work, as well as information on reimbursement to the citizen of part of the expenses for electricity supply of operational single-apartment residential buildings and residential premises in block residential buildings; – whether the citizen was reimbursed part of the expenses for the purchase of boiler equipment (if the citizen owns or owned several residential houses or residential premises).

For additional information, you can contact the department of architecture, construction, and housing and communal economy of the district executive committee (tel. 2-01-94, room No. 15).
