Starting on September 15, 2026, owners of jewelry and scrap precious metals will be able to sell them to the state on more favorable terms. The Belarus Ministry of Finance has officially announced a substantial increase in purchase prices. The adjustment affected almost all types of precious metals, including gold, silver, platinum, and palladium. The price rise was a noticeable response to the current market conditions.

What is the price of gold now?

The most common gold purities that are most frequently found in jewelry have increased significantly in value. For example, the price per gram for 583‑ and 585‑fineness gold is now 236.91 rubles, which is 34.41 rubles more than before.

For those who own higher‑purity items, the terms have become even more attractive:

  • 750 fineness: 303.74 rubles (+44.13 rubles);
  • 958 fineness: 387.97 rubles (+56.36 rubles).

Even the “budget” 375 fineness has risen by more than 22 rubles, reaching 151.87 rubles per gram.

The positive trend also affected other metals. For instance, a gram of 925‑fineness silver is now valued at 5.61 rubles, an increase of just over a ruble. Platinum 950 fineness also showed a steady rise — to 155.8 rubles per gram (+24.75 rubles).

For metals not included in the main list, new prices per gram in purity have been set:

  • Gold: 404.98 rubles;
  • Silver: 6.07 rubles;
  • Platinum: 164 rubles;
  • Palladium: 119.89 rubles.
