Charging at EV stations with cash? Now possible in the Gomel region

Payment services for electric vehicle charging — by card or cash — are available at six gas stations in the region equipped with charging stations.

As reported by the company "Belarusneft," two such stations are located in Gomel (gas station No. 20 and 21), and one each in Kalinkovichi, Petrikov, Chenki, and Eremiyonо. The project will then be scaled up, and the service will appear at other stations.

More and more drivers are switching to electric vehicles, but not everyone finds it convenient to use a mobile app for payment. Some come from abroad, while many simply find it more familiar and understandable to pay at the cash register.

The new service is intended to be added to all EV charging stations located at the gas stations of "Belarusneft-Gomeloblnefteprodukt." There are 20 of them in the region. Recently, two more charging stations appeared at gas station No. 73 in the settlement of Novy Ostrov, Rogachev district.

Construction and installation work is currently underway, with EV charging stations being installed at gas stations No. 37 and No. 47 in Mozyr, as well as in Gomel — at gas station No. 25 on B. Khmelnitsky Street, gas station No. 77 on Sovetskaya, and No. 15 on Fedyuninskogo. They are scheduled to be connected to the network by the end of 2026.
