On September 16, as part of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union’s “Open Dialogue” project at the OJSC “Bobruisk Plant of TDIA,” a meeting took place between youth and young specialists and Deputy Head of the Administration of the Pervomaisky District Natalya Okrut, city council deputy Irina Kozlova, and Deputy Director for ideological work, social development and personnel at BZTDIA Natalya Duboy. The event was held in commemoration of the Day of National Unity.

“Open Dialogue” is a large‑scale project of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union that gives young people the opportunity to ask pressing questions, raise sharp issues, and propose ideas for their subsequent implementation.

Natalya Okrut immediately set the participants on an open conversation. She noted that together with the deputy corps and company representatives she is ready to help the youth and young specialists of the plant. The main condition for preserving Belarus’s independence and multiplying what has been achieved remains the unity of society and the state:

• It is a pride – for our country, for the fact that we are Belarusians. Our country is small, but no one can break us. This is unity – in families, at enterprises, in everyday life.

Irina Kozlova spoke about the work of the deputy corps with youth, the implementation of civic initiatives in our city, and that youth ideas are always welcomed and receive support. “From the bottom of my heart I want to congratulate all of you on the upcoming Day of National Unity! May harmony and mutual understanding always prevail in your families, work collectives, and in our native Belarus! Strong health, prosperity, joy, and a peaceful sky over our beloved country!”

Natalya Duboy spoke about support for young specialists at the enterprise. For example, a young specialist who has no disciplinary violations for a month and shows good production results can expect additional financial support.

During the meeting, young people asked questions about the significance of the Day of National Unity, about the speakers’ professional paths, about new projects to unite youth, about the role of youth parliaments and public associations – BRSM and “White Russia” – in strengthening societal unity. They also asked which traditions help bring experienced specialists and youth together into one team.
