Today, September 12, the Mogilev region is welcoming guests from the People's Republic of China. One of the main highlights of the rich introductory tour program became the famous 19th-century architectural monument—the Bulgakov Court-Park Ensemble in the agracity of Zhilichi.
Upon arrival in Belarus, 10 millionaire bloggers from China came. This is not just a tourist trip, but a large-scale introductory tour organized by the National Tourism Agency with support from the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the PRC and Belbank. The main goal of the visit is to strengthen humanitarian and cultural ties, as well as promote our country's tourism potential on the Asian market.
Chinese media experts have already been able to assess the unique interiors and rich history of the Bulgakov residence. However, the delegation's route did not limit itself to a single palace. As press secretary of the National Tourism Agency Maria Streltsova told, the program was designed taking into account the preferences of guests from the Middle Kingdom.
"—Besides Zhilichi, the delegation's route included important industrial, cultural and gastronomic objects of the region. The program was specially prepared taking into account the preferences of Chinese guests. Usually they are interested in our castles and other historical-cultural heritage objects. Of course, there was also a gastronomic part—we wanted them to be able to get acquainted with our culture through national cuisine," noted Streltsova.
Tour participant Efai E came to Belarus from Chengdu (south China). She runs a blog about traveling with children on the "Red Book" platform and has already visited 30 countries. Belarus became the 31st in her list.
"My knowledge of Belarus was zero, and this was my first time here. Many things impressed me. Regarding people's friendliness, tasty food, beautiful places, landscapes—I, being in China, could not even imagine how beautifully it is here, such delicious food," shared the guest.
Separately, the blogger praised the grandeur of the palace in Zhilichi:
"I heard that the palace in Zhilichi is called the Belarusian Versailles. Now I understand why: what particularly impressed me were the ceiling decorations, the beauty of the interiors and the exhibits presented here."
Efai admitted she plans to return to Belarus with her family already.
Another tour participant, Suanyi Tan from the city of Zhuhai, popular TikTok blogger, also did not hide her emotions:
— I am very impressed by the friendliness of the people, and also by the beauty of Belarusian landscapes and nature. I really like it here. I didn't even expect Belarus to be so beautiful and comfortable. As a blogger, I talk about my travels, share impressions, emotions, and stories that happen to me. And I always do it as honestly and sincerely as possible.
The familiarization tour for Chinese million‑follower bloggers is coming to an end. In just a few days, the guests managed to see Zhilichi, Grodno, the Pripyat National Park, “Ozery,” and Minsk. They met people, visited castles, and tried the national cuisine.
But the main result is not the route, but the impressions. The bloggers are already sharing their emotions with millions of their followers. Such trips are valuable precisely because of their sincerity. When opinion leaders speak honestly about a country, it works better than any official campaign. And if the guests want to come back, then it was all worthwhile.
