Belarusian oilmen drilled nine wells and installed six rigs in August. This was reported to the BELTA correspondent by the company “Belarusneft.”
“In August, the drilling of nine new sites was completed, which will provide additional tons of black gold to Belarusneft’s reserves,” the company noted.
The majority of new points were built at the Rechitskoe field—six. The oil fund increased also due to growth at other sites: wells were drilled at the Yuzhno‑Ostashkovichskoye, Moskvichyevskoye fields, and at the Ostashkovichskaya area.
“The dynamics of the construction process is aided by the team of the Upper Installation Management (VSMU), which performs the installation of drilling equipment with quality,” the company noted. The VSMU team transferred six installed drilling rigs to colleagues from the Svetlogorsk drilling operations management in August.
The production association “Belarusneft” was founded in 1966. The enterprise conducts exploration, development, and exploitation of oil fields, drilling of wells, extraction of oil and associated natural gas in Belarus, and operates in the oil sector of other countries. Today, “Belarusneft” employs over 27,000 people across three continents. The company has more than 40 lines of activity—from seismology to the agricultural sector.
