In August, Belarusian oil workers drilled nine wells and installed six rigs. The company “Belorussianneft” informed the BELTA correspondent about this.
“By August, the drilling of nine new sites was completed, which will bring additional tons of black gold into Belorussianneft’s reserve,” the company noted.
The most new points were built at the Rechitskoe field—six. The oil fund increased also due to growth at other sites: wells were drilled at the Yuzhno‑Ostashkovichskoye, Moskvichyovskoye fields, and at the Ostashkovichskaya area.
“The dynamics of the construction process is aided by the team of the Upper Installation Management (VSMU), which performs the installation of drilling equipment with quality,” the company pointed out. The VSMU team transferred six installed drilling rigs to colleagues from the Svetlogorsk drilling operations management in August.
The production association “Belorussianneft” was founded in 1966. The enterprise conducts exploration, development, and exploitation of oil fields, drilling wells, extracting oil and associated petroleum gas in Belarus, and operates in the oil sector of other countries. Today, “Belorussianneft” employs over 27,000 people across three continents. The company has more than 40 areas of activity—from seismology to the agricultural sector.
