
In Belarus, the sale of two meat semi‑finished products has been banned – dangerous bacteria were found in them

The State Standard of Belarus has imposed a ban on the import and sale of two meat semi‑finished products produced by UP “Arkol”.
In the “Smak” steak, a high level of microorganisms was detected, as well as bacteria from the Enterobacteriaceae family and pathogenic microorganisms. Additionally, Salmonella was found in 25 grams of the product. Their presence in food products is not allowed. In the “Teftelek” meatballs, bacteria from the Enterobacteriaceae family and pathogenic microorganisms were detected. Salmonella was also found in 25 grams of the product. Moreover, the meatballs exceeded the permissible limit of mesophilic aerobic and facultatively anaerobic microorganisms.
