The first gas-cylinder installation in our district appeared in 1966. In those days, gas to the Kruglyanka region was delivered from Belynichi. And since 1977, the Kruglyanka liquefied gas workshop was established, which was part of the structure of the Mogilev inter-district gas economy management "Mogilevmezraygaz."

As is known, today the gasification of our region is handled not by a workshop anymore, but by a more large-scale and numerous, in terms of functionality and composition, Kruglyanka District Gas Supply.

Over the decades of its activity, it has not only preserved but also significantly multiplied the reputation of a successful, constantly developing enterprise, where responsible and competent specialists have always worked and continue to work. It was about them, on the eve of the Day of Oil, Gas and Fuel Industry Workers, that we spoke with the head of Kruglyanka RGS Vladimir MARTYNOV.

– Vladimir Viktorovich, first of all, I would like to hear about the main tasks facing your team at present?

– To date, the team of our RGS is solving a set of tasks related to the gasification of industrial, agricultural, communal and consumer service users and the population of the city and district, control over the construction of gas supply systems, ensuring their safe operation and the safety of gas economy facilities.

As of July 1 of the current year, the Kruglyanka RGS maintains approximately 170 kilometers of natural gas networks that supply the entire district. To maintain the necessary pressure and throughput capacity, we have the necessary equipment and people who promptly service gas distribution and cabinet regulator stations, reservoir installations and liquefied gas networks. To date, natural gas is supplied to 1,792 apartments and 1,422 residential houses. Liquefied gas is provided to 29 consumers from group tank installations, and 2,582 subscribers receive it in cylinders. Among the legal entities we service are the local UKP "Zhilkomkhoz" (providing boiler houses operating on gas fuel), SOOO "Pride-Union" and others.

– What innovations have been introduced into the operation of the gas system of our region in recent years?

– Today, Kruglyanskoye RGS is a highly modern enterprise that makes extensive use of innovative technologies and systems, which allow full analysis and control over gas delivery, its sale and payment, and, in general, the entire workflow. In the program, we not only receive tasks, but can also see, for example, that in a particular household the servicing deadline for a gas boiler is approaching, along with other important details. And, undoubtedly, the transition from the old system to the modern one has allowed us to be closer to people and to resolve any issues that arise more quickly and with higher quality.

Over the past years, we have fundamentally renewed our technologies and machinery. The introduction of automated control systems has made it possible to enhance the safety and efficiency of operations. Special attention within our structure is given to creating comfortable and safe working conditions, providing employees with personal protective equipment, the necessary high-quality tools and materials, and staff training, because qualified, disciplined, and responsible specialists are the foundation of our work.

Aimed at boosting motivation and cohesion, and maintaining a positive corporate spirit, are a variety of in-house events held by PU "Mogilevgaz" and RUE "Mogilevoblgas," which are reflected on departmental websites, pages, and groups in social networks and messengers. These include all sorts of challenges, campaigns, contests, and more.

We also try to keep up with the public life of our district: the team collectively takes part in commemorative, cultural, and sports-mass events, and actively engages in improving the adjacent territory (we mow down weeds, trim ornamental plantings, plant flowers, and renovate small architectural features). So the inner life of gas industry workers is very broad and rich in events.

– Vladimir Viktorovich, please tell us about the areas of activity of the main structural divisions of your enterprise.

– The first to respond to non-standard situations in gas supply to our subscribers is the emergency dispatch service, which promptly goes out to eliminate breakdowns when gas equipment is shut off, when there is a natural gas leak, and in other cases falling within our remit.

No less important functions are performed by the workers of the underground gas pipeline maintenance service. They control the insulation of gas pipelines, ensure scheduled maintenance of district pressure reduction stations and gas reduction stations (replacement of repair kits, equipment adjustment according to seasonality, etc.), carry out systematic inspections to identify gas leaks and other possible malfunctions.

The repair and maintenance of gas stoves, boilers, and water heating units at consumers' premises is handled by the VDHO service (intra-household gas equipment).

Control over gas consumption through gas meters, application of tariffs and rates, and delivery of liquefied gas to the population is performed by specialists of the gas accounting service. And literally each of these links is part of a single team that works for the common good, for the benefit of the district's residents.

– In the professional holiday, of course, the warmest words are addressed. What would you like to say to your colleagues?

– First of all, I would like to thank for the dedication and daily labor of every representative of our team who is truly devoted to our field and sincerely strives to grow and develop in it, while maintaining the best labor traditions.

Separate words of gratitude go to our respected veterans, those who were at the origins of the gas industry in Krügli district and made their significant contribution to the foundation of its reliability.

It is gratifying to note that, as before, the professionalism and efforts of the best workers of Krügli RGS do not go unnoticed by the senior management.

For the current professional holiday, the portrait of Mikhail Kozlovsky, a master for maintenance and repair of underground gas pipelines, who has faithfully worked in the gas industry of Krügli region for 25 years, has been entered on the Board of Honor of RUE "Mogilevoblgas". The photograph of Alexander Sventitsky, a driver of the firefighting unit, has been placed on the Branch Board of Honor of the Mogilev Production Department. Gratitude of the Branch of PUE "Mogilevgaz" has been declared to Dmitry Minchukov, a locksmith for maintenance and repair of gas equipment.
