Seven years in a strong tandem, Vasily Onufriyuk and Vadim Zakharchuk have been working together at OOO "CountryMilk". This year their crew became the first in the district. These hardworking agrarians harvested 1800 tons of grain.

The combine harvesters have known each other for a long time. Once they worked together at OAO "Kobrinagromash". Then their paths diverged. Vasily Vasilievich returned to OOO "CountryMilk", while Vadim Ivanovich continued working at the organization.

His tenure as a mechanical and electrical technician, involved in producing tractor wiring harnesses for automotive equipment, amounts to 26 years.

"Vasily offered me to participate in the harvest. I decided to try. More than 20 years have passed since then," says Vadim Ivanovich. "It's difficult to explain in words the feeling I experience when harvest time arrives."

Some kind of magnetic force pulls me to get behind the combine and go to the golden field. I'm taking this time off. Before that, he was part of a different crew, and in recent years, along with an old friend.

Vasily Onufriyuk and Vadim Zakharchuk have become leaders in the harvest of cereal and legume crops more than once. In 2023 they came third in the region, and in 2024, 2025, and 2026 they continued to take the lead.

They even got muddy and harvested over 2,000 tons.

"What is the secret to their success? First, our smooth cooperation. It's very important to understand each other, as they say, to be connected by one goal. My partner is a person devoted to the work. He knows his job well. He never gives himself half-measures. We don't need to teach each other anything. Second, it's technology.

To keep hands safe from being in the most responsible moment in the grease when fixing malfunctions, one must prepare the combine in advance and constantly monitor it. Of course, there can be unforeseen situations—no one is immune to them. My combine is over 10 years old, but it has never let me down.

The harvest went smoothly. The weather was good, which helped finish it quickly, although the yield was somewhat reduced," says Vasily Vasilievich.

Vasily Onufriyuk's agricultural career is substantial. As noted, he first got behind a tractor at age 15:

"My father took me out to the fields. After the army, I returned to the farm, then worked for some time at 'Kobrinagromash' and again on my small homeland. Here is my heart—I know every foot of land. The harvest is a critical period, but after it there isn't much time for rest either. Currently I work at AMKODeRe, exporting organic fertilizer."
