Belarus's GDP grew by 1.9% in January–August.

According to the first estimate, GDP at current prices amounted to 209.1 billion rubles, or in comparable prices 101.9% of the January–August 2025 level. The GDP deflator for January–August 2026 relative to the corresponding period of the previous year was 113%.

As noted by Belstat, the shift in the timing of grain and rapeseed harvesting in 2026 compared with 2025 affected the dynamics of gross value added and gross domestic product.
