On September 18 at the District House of Culture, a special atmosphere prevailed: those who dedicated their lives to caring for the "green lungs" of the country gathered there. The occasion was more than significant – the professional holiday of forest workers and a beautiful jubilee date – the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the Cheryovsky Forest Management Agency.

The hall was full to capacity. The solemn moment was shared not only by current employees but also by industry veterans from Cheryovsky and Slavogradsky districts – for these two territories today are under the reliable care of the forest agency.

The celebration began with the anthem of foresters. Those present traditionally listened standing, paying tribute to the profession. And the right to open the festive program was entrusted to the youngest guests – pupils of the Slavograd preschool forest station "Lesnoy Dozor". The little ones, who are already taking their first steps in learning about nature, have become symbols of generational continuity.

During the solemn event, an awards ceremony took place. One after another, 120 forestry workers — from guards to leading specialists — took the stage. Each of them received a well-deserved award for their contribution to the common cause.
