Specialists' attention was drawn to the milk chocolate "No Sugar" produced by JSC "AKKOND" (Chuvash Republic), as well as brandy from Slonim. Both products turned out not to be what they claim to be.

Tests showed that the mass fraction of milk fat in the confectionery product was 0.9%, whereas the norm is 2.5% or higher. The product cannot be considered milk chocolate, and the manufacturer deliberately gave the bar the appearance and certain properties of milk chocolate. However, it cannot be identified as the product it is being passed off as, noted the State Standard.

Bans on sales, import, and circulation, termination of conformity assessment documents, and withdrawal from circulation took effect today.

The counterfeit also turned out to be the brandy "KV RETRO" aged 6 years with 40% alcohol. The beverage was produced at the Slonim Wine and Vodka Plant branch.

As a result of the tests, it was found that the mass concentration of tannins, with a norm of not less than 0.3 g/dm³, amounted to (0.17 ± 0.01) g/dm³. Specialists explained: the name misleads consumers. The manufacturer gave the product the appearance and certain properties of aged brandy, but the product cannot be identified as aged brandy.

Effective today, bans on sales, import, and circulation have been imposed on the counterfeit brandy.
