At the National Bank, the implementation of the decree on crypto banks was discussed

Priozersky Krai 10 April 2026 12:36 Chairman of the Board of the National Bank Roman Golovchenko held a meeting on crypto banks. This was reported by sb.by.

Roman Golovchenko noted:

"Today we are holding a working meeting on the progress of the implementation of the Head of State's Decree 'On Crypto Banks and Certain Issues of Control in the Sphere of Digital Signs (Tokens).' It did not simply proceed with the novelty of the issue taken into account. This places additional responsibility on us for its effective implementation. All necessary decisions at the level of the National Bank and the secretariat of the Supervisory Board of the HTP must be made by 2 July of the current year. By that date, a clear procedure for practical actions must be defined for all divisions of the National Bank regarding the consideration of relevant applications for the inclusion of organizations in the register of crypto banks."

Roman Golovchenko emphasized that this work has been put on a planned and mobilization basis. A concrete action plan has been developed, and structural divisions have been identified and assigned to each of the issues. Interim control is carried out on an ongoing basis.
