Sergey Katsko, the Head of the Department for Organizing the Work of the State Employment Service and Alternative Service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, spoke about support measures for young specialists working in rural areas. This is reported by BELTA.

Sergey Katsko noted that the state stimulates work in rural areas in a comprehensive manner:

"First, upon job assignment, a young specialist can count on the provision of housing from the enterprise. Second, a preferential loan is available for the purchase of domestically produced goods at a rate of only 2.3% (a quarter of the refinancing rate), which must be repaid over five years. Third, monthly allowances are provided ranging from 10% of the salary to 40% of the base rate. For those working in the industrial complex, the allowance amounts to one base rate during the first two years, and one and a half base rates during the following three years."

Preferential loans for the construction or purchase of housing at a rate of 3% for 20 years are also provided, as well as benefits on real estate tax.

On the part of the employment service, assistance is provided in job placement with the mandatory provision of housing to unemployed citizens relocating to rural areas, and a settling-in allowance is paid in the amount of nine budgets of the subsistence minimum — which is 4,700 rubles.
