Autumn open-air fairs will launch in Minsk on September 19, with markets set to open across all districts of the capital. The main venues will be the area near the Chizhovka-Arena and the Palace of Sports. This is reported by news.by.

According to Elena Nagornaya, head of the Main Department of Trade and Services of the Minsk City Executive Committee, the fairs traditionally begin after the City Day celebrations. In 2026, the start is scheduled for September 19.

The city agricultural fair near the Chizhovka-Arena will be held weekly on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the season. Another agricultural fair will be set up near the Palace of Sports.

A wide range of products will be offered to buyers: vegetables (potatoes, onions, beets), berries, mushrooms, honey, fish, as well as confectionery and bakery products. Goods will be presented by more than 50 agricultural enterprises of the republic.

Assistance in delivering purchased goods will be organized for the elderly and citizens with limited mobility.

Elena Nagornaya also explained the procedure for participating in the fairs.

"In case a decision is made to organize trading at a particular venue, it is necessary to contact the trade and services department of the administration of the district where the venue is located, write the corresponding application, and provide a copy of the certificate confirming that there is a plot where agricultural products are grown. It is also necessary to comply with the most important requirement when organizing trading – maintaining order at your workplace," noted the head of the Main Department of Trade and Services of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

The agricultural fairs will operate until December, depending on weather conditions. Addresses, times, and dates of the markets can be found on the Minsk City Executive Committee website.
