In anticipation of significant holidays for Gomel and Belarus as a whole – City Day and National Unity Day – the city executive committee handed over four pieces of equipment to the “Sovetskoe” enterprise.

First deputy head of the Sovetsky District administration, Pavel Mlynarchik, said that the equipment fleet of the state enterprise “Sovetskoe” has increased:

• Our district is one of the largest in the city, and the municipal service enterprise serves more than 180 hectares of courtyard areas where weed cutting is required. Therefore, the decision was made to strengthen the equipment fleet. Four mowers will allow the staff of “Sovetskoe” to accomplish all set tasks, greatly increasing the speed of work, as their productivity is much higher than that of ordinary trimmers.

Chief engineer of the state enterprise “Sovetskoe”, Kristina Anishchenko, explained that the lawn mowers will increase the speed of weed cutting:

• This will allow the territory of the Sovetsky District to be brought into an aesthetic state more quickly. The mowers are multifunctional, have zero turning radius, which provides high maneuverability, especially where small architectural features are installed. Moreover, the blade swing is quite large – 155 centimeters, which also helps accelerate the cutting process.

The new equipment will be delivered to those maintenance and operation units that manage the largest courtyard areas.
