In Belarus, they set maximum prices for fruit and vegetable products under state order.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food has set maximum prices for main types of fruit and vegetable products for the off‑season period of 2026/27 in order to fulfill the state order. The prices have been fixed in Decree No. 72 of September 8, 2026, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food told BELTA.

The decree came into force on September 1, 2026 and applies to potatoes, beets, carrots, cabbage, onions and apples of the 2026 harvest. According to the document, the ceiling prices for potatoes will be 0.66–0.74 rubles per kilogram, depending on delivery conditions. For carrots the prices are set in the range of 0.78–0.94 rubles, for beets — 0.69–0.82 rubles.

"The highest prices have been set for apples — 2.73–3.36 rubles per 1 kg. Prices for white cabbage will be 0.98–1.13 rubles, and for onion — 1.05–1.18 rubles," the ministry noted.

The established prices for potatoes, carrots and beets will be in effect from November 15, 2026 to May 31, 2027. For cabbage and apples the period is set from November 15, 2026 to April 30, 2027.
