
Hotimsk, September 10, 2026, 15:57 – The Ministry of Agriculture and Food has set maximum prices for key fruit and vegetable products for the off‑season period 2026/27 to fulfill a state order. The prices were fixed in a decree dated September 8, 2026, No. 72, the ministry’s press service BELTA reported.
The decree entered into force on September 1, 2026, and applies to potatoes, beets, carrots, cabbage, onions, and apples from the 2026 harvest. According to the document, the ceiling price for potatoes will be 0.66–0.74 rubles per kilogram, depending on delivery conditions. Carrots are set at 0.78–0.94 rubles, and beets at 0.69–0.82 rubles.
“The highest prices are set for apples – 2.73–3.36 rubles per kilogram. Prices for white cabbage will be 0.98–1.13 rubles, and for common onion 1.05–1.18 rubles,” the ministry said.
The established prices for potatoes, carrots, and beets will apply from November 15, 2026, to May 31, 2027. For cabbage and apples, the period is from November 15, 2026, to April 30, 2027.
