Belarus continues to see strong growth in real wages. This is stated in a macroeconomic review by the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), as reported by BELTA.
In July 2026, real wages rose by 9.1% year-on-year, following a 9% increase in June. In the budget sector, wage growth continues to outpace the average across the economy: according to EDB estimates, it amounted to 10.5% year-on-year, after 11.8% the previous month.
Starting September 1, the base rate for paying employees of budget organizations is being raised. "This will help sustain strong wage dynamics and support consumer activity," the EDB noted.
