Belarus continues to see high growth in real wages. This is stated in the macroeconomic review of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), as reported by BELTA.

In July 2026, real wages increased by 9.1% year-on-year, following a 9% rise in June. In the budget sector, wage growth continues to outpace the average for the economy: according to EDB estimates, it amounted to 10.5% year-on-year, compared with 11.8% the previous month.

Starting September 1, the base rate for wages of employees of budget-funded organizations is being increased. "This will help sustain the high dynamics of wages and support consumer activity," the EDB noted.
