The vehicle shown in the photo is a mining truck designed for transporting people in underground mines. The prototype, named Belarus MT‑92, was built at the Minsk Tractor Plant.

"Work on the project began at the start of last year in agreement with OJSC 'Belaruskali'. The company will soon begin testing the new vehicle," reports the Telegram channel "Minprom Belarus."

It may surprise some that MTZ is involved in more than just tractors. Yet the company's history includes examples of other equipment. For instance, the Sh‑406 model (a universal chassis), popularly known as the Belarusian "Unimog". Depending on the equipment fitted, such a vehicle can perform a wide range of tasks, not limited to municipal services.

Earlier, "Pozhsnab" showcased the forest fire‑fighting complex PC 2.0, built specifically on the Sh‑406 special chassis. Its superstructure is made of reinforced glass fiber. It holds 2000 liters of water. Additional forest firefighting equipment, such as plows, diggers, etc., can be mounted on the vehicle.
