In Belarus, deflation was recorded in August, the National Statistical Committee said.

The consumer price index for goods and services in August 2026 compared with July 2026 was 99.9%, and with December 2025 it was 103.1%.

The core consumer price index, which excludes changes in prices of individual goods and services subject to administrative and seasonal factors, was 100.4% in August 2026 compared with July 2026, and 103.4% compared with December 2025.
