He noted that these issues are very relevant and necessary not only for the agricultural sector but for the country as a whole: for domestic policy and for addressing a number of questions that arise today in the area of trade and export of Belarusian products. “Important issues that we will be considering today are the draft law on veterinary medicine, on melioration, on the identification and traceability of animals and aquaculture. Each law is unique, it brings certain specific changes,” Ivan Markevich commented.

Also on today’s agenda are two international ratifications: with the Russian Federation on data exchange and with the Republic of Togo on visa‑free entry for holders of official and diplomatic passports. International diplomacy and international activity are among the priorities for the House of Representatives. For example, next Sunday, September 20, our deputies will serve as observers during the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

The upcoming session is expected to be intensive.
