MogilevNEWS.by 15.09.2026 Solemn events were held in Kostyukovichi to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the launch of the first technological line of the Belarusian Cement Plant OAO. Over three decades, the Belarusian Cement Plant has evolved from a bold investment project to one of the flagships of the country's construction industry. Today, the enterprise produces over a million tons of cement annually, successfully implements large-scale investment projects, and supplies construction sites throughout Belarus. However, the plant's greatest wealth is its labor collective, where entire dynasties and specialists who have dedicated their lives to the enterprise work.

Particular attention was paid to the people whose daily labor ensures the success of the enterprise during the celebration. Alexander Lisovsky, Chairman of the Mogilev Regional Organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Construction and Building Materials Industry Workers, presented well-deserved trade union awards to the best workers of the Belarusian Cement Plant, emphasizing the importance of strong social partnership.

The Belarusian Cement Plant is, first and foremost, the people who invest their soul in their work every day. And the trade union is always there to support each of them, create decent working conditions, and defend the interests of the collective, noted Alexander Lisovsky.

The trade union leader also emphasized that the primary trade union organization of the Belarusian Cement Plant is an example of constructive dialogue with the employer, where issues of labor protection, employee health improvement, and support for young specialists are addressed systematically and openly.

A significant and truly warm event of the anniversary celebrations was the laying of a memorial alley. Veterans who stood at the origins of the enterprise, young specialists, plant management, and trade union activists joined forces to plant young trees.

For the collective of the Belarusian Cement Plant, this action became a living symbol of the continuity of generations and unity. The seedlings, strengthening their roots in the Kostyukovichi soil, embody confidence in the future. Each planted tree is a tribute to those who launched the first technological line in an empty field three decades ago and a farewell to the young people who will write the history of the plant in the coming decades.
